Tom Bast opened TBS The Team & Corporate Store in 1987 after gaining many years of experience in retail he decided to branch out on his own and focus on team and corporate apparel with on-site embroidery decoration. Always in the back of his mind he had a dream of opening a sports store. In 2016 the stars aligned and Tom’s vision and dream along with a lot of sweat and sacrifice from his family he opened the doors to the TBS Sports Excellence Store.

TBS Sports is a 4500 sqft sports store for the community that Tom has been a part of for over 35 years, he felt there was a need in central Alberta for a dedicated sports store with knowledgeable staff and unique shopping experience our goal is to grow your “passion to play”. This vision and dream is the driving force behind Tom and the TBS Sports team.

Tom has personally selected every item that is on our shelves, He never brings in items that he feels does not pertain to our local sports community to make your playing experience the best it can be. You will find many great and unique items and if you don’t see what you are looking for please ask! The more a players know about the equipment they use the better player they will be.

Our store is clean, organized and bright. We offer a personalized shopping experience, and we are always happy to help you find what you need. We do our absolute best to ensure we offer competitive prices. Our team is amazing - all of them are passionate about the game.

We are proud to support many local Community organizations that help to keep kids active including local Minor Hockey Associations, Red Deer Firefighters, MS Society, etc.
